Welcome to Presentation Plus! This unique multimedia teaching resource is designed to help facilitate your classroom presentation of the ideas and concepts contained in your textbook. Many of the teaching resources you have come to rely on are now provided in one easy-to-use product.
Your Presentation Plus! CD-ROM contains two versions of the software.
The PowerPoint 98/Viewer folder contains Presentation Plus! Lite, which includes the lecture notes and chapter assessment from each chapter. No audio, video, maps, charts, or special features are available in this version. This version is designed to run on PowerPoint 98 for the Macintosh and the PowerPoint Viewer for the Macintosh.
The PowerPoint 2001 folder contains the full version of the Presentation Plus! software, including audio, video, maps, charts, and special features. This version is designed to run on PowerPoint 2001 for the Macintosh.
If you encounter a memory error or the presentations do not run smoothly, increase the memory settings for PowerPoint or the PowerPoint Viewer. To do this, go to the Finder and click once on the PowerPoint or PowerPoint Viewer application on the hard drive of your computer to highlight it. Click File, Get Info, Memory and increase the Minimum and Preferred memory settings to at least 24000 K. Also, in the Memory Control Panel make sure that Virtual Memory is turned on.
